Join IPSX and the British Property Federation alongside a panel of industry experts for a breakfast seminar looking at the future of real estate investment. Keynote speaker Malcolm Frodsham, founder of Real Estate Strategies and author of new research paper “Commercial real estate – the case for real estate investment”, will present his findings and join the panel in a discussion looking at current and predicted investor sentiment around the industry.
The investment case for real estate is well proven, however, the scale, cost and need for professional skills to understand fund structures has acted as a barrier to some investors.
In this time of change and innovation in commercial real estate, the panel will focus on what needs to be taken into consideration when investing and the options investors have to maximise their returns, how tax reforms have changed the UK property investment landscape since REITS were introduced, as well as the progress that is being made in developing a new public market for real estate.
Panellists include:
- Huw Stephens, Asset Management PATRIZIA and immediate past Head of UK Transactions, AXA Real Estate
- Rachel Kelly, Senior Policy Officer, Finance for the British Property Federation
- Anthony Gahan, Chairman, IPSX
The morning will be chaired by Richard Werner, Partner at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP
