Costs leak out of shopping centres

According to the MSCI Annual Index, in the two decades to 2019 the irrecoverable costs on residential property averaged 27% of gross income, 10pp more than shopping centres.

Last year, the irrecoverable costs on shopping centres hit almost 30%, 8pp more than residential.
